The Office of Enterprise Risk Management, Compliance, and Safety is seeking intern candidates interested in physical health related to physical therapy, athletic training, or exercise science to support the Utah Shakespeare Festival.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Attending rehearsals and some performances to provide basic/non-professional recommendations for on-site care.
  • Coordinating with ERM and USF Management to create a general stretching and physical readiness program for actors and staff.
  • Attending weekly coordination meetings.
  • Providing physical safety observation during rehearsals, setups, and some performances.
  • Submitting suggested modifications based on observations made to ERM and USF Management.

Qualifications:

  • Requisite knowledge of Basic First Aid and Athletic Training .
  • CPR Certification Preferred but not required.
  • Teamwork.
  • Excellent verbal communication.
  • Professionalism.
  • Ability to create a safe and productive environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Organizational skills.
